Dress Rehearsal TBA
Performance May 17
This 5-week series is for graduates of burlesque 101 or individuals who have been performing burlesque for at least 6 months. This class focuses on a personal experience tailored to your individual needs to grow as a performer and will culminate with the opportunity to perform in a student recital*. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions about eligibility. This is a fast paced course and participants should be prepared to walk through their act with a few costume pieces at the first class. Topics will include (but are not limited to):
- Character/image development: Stage ready hair and makeup and further defining your alter ego.
- Choreography, musicality and rehearsal techniques: How to get the most out of your time and create an original and well balanced act.
- Poise and body lines: Use your individuality to your advantage while learning how control your body movements.
- Interacting with your audience: Learn to command the room and make them grovel at your feet.
Attendance at all classes is mandatory, and missing classes may result in non-performance (emergencies will be handled on a case by case basis).
Students are responsible for the cost of creating their own costume in addition to the workshop price.
Tuition includes an hour-long private lesson with Fanny Galore
